A single-advisor practice, kept that way on purpose.
We are not a wealth-management platform, a wirehouse, or a roll-up. We are one advisor, in one office, on one street in Melbourne, Florida — and we intend to stay that way.
Haley Wealth Counsel was founded in March 2014 by Bridget R. Haley, after fourteen years inside the private-client division of a regional Florida bank. The catalyst was simple: she had grown tired of recommending products her employer happened to manufacture, and she suspected her clients had grown tired of it too.
The firm has, by deliberate design, remained a single-advisor practice. There is no junior associate, no rotating client-service team, and no plan to grow beyond a finite number of families. When clients call, Bridget answers. When the plan is written, Bridget writes it. When the engagement letter is signed, it is signed by the person who will still be sitting across the table from you a decade from now.
We work, almost without exception, with three kinds of households: families approaching or in retirement, owners of closely-held Brevard County businesses, and trustees of small private foundations. We are paid only by these clients — never by a fund company, never by an insurance carrier, never by a referral partner.
That arrangement is, in our view, the bare minimum a thoughtful family should expect. It is also the reason our office is quieter, smaller, and slower than most.
